Quality Tyres from Perth to Port Hedland and Beyond

At AUS Mechanical Services, we supply and fit high quality tyres for passenger vehicles, 4WDs, light trucks and buses, including hard-wearing tyres designed for the harsh conditions and remote areas of the outback in WA.

We stock tyres from industry-leading brands such as Bridgestone, Michelin, Hankook, Toyo, Kumho, Nankang, Austone and BF Goodrich; our Onslow branch also offers large, industrial-sized tyres for tractors and cranes (JCB Telehandler and Franna Cranes).

Everything you need to keep your tyres in good condition

We use the latest tyre fitment equipment to achieve high standards in a short timeframe. Our services include:

  • Replacement
  • Repairs
  • Rotation and balance
  • Wheel alignment

Since many vehicles we work with are required to perform in harsh conditions, we have the knowledge and equipment to fit anything from a standard sedan to a mine-spec vehicle or truck.

We strive to keep our prices as competitive as possible on tyres at our branches in Perth, Port Hedland and Onslow to ensure cost isn’t a barrier for the safety and performance of your vehicle or fleet. Our team can guide you with expert advice on choosing the right tyre for your needs, whether that be for comfort, durability, performance, economy, industrial, mining or construction.

The state of your vehicle’s tyres is integral to overall function

It’s imperative that your tyres are in good condition for optimum safety and performance, which is required of vehicles in any context but particularly in commercial or industrial applications. Tyres naturally deteriorate with age and general wear, but they can also be affected by rough driving surfaces, weather conditions, driving habits, improper use and neglecting maintenance.

Signs that you need new tyres:

  • Tread depth less than legal limit of 1.5mm
  • Tread depth below tread wear indicator bar (rubber ridge inside tread, running perpendicular)
  • More than five years old (maximum age recommended by manufacturers)
  • Cracks in sidewall
  • Uneven wear
